OUR ORGANISTS
Paul DePass began piano study at an early age and very soon entered the Columbia Boychoir School (now known as The American Boychoir School) in Princeton, NJ as a scholarship student, where he studied piano under Donald Bryant, the Music Director.
Paul became a member of the concert choir at the age of 12 and toured with them under professional management on concert tour throughout the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. He appeared in more than 100 concerts both as a member of the Boychoir and as piano soloist and accompanist.
While in Japan, he performed with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra on Japanese television. He also played in the Royal Palace and in the United States Embassy. After graduation, he studied at the French School of Music and shortly thereafter began study with David Saperton in New York, until Mr. Saperton’s death. Paul continued his study at the New School of Music in Philadelphia. He won first place in the 1968 Music Education Council Piano Competition and subsequently played in Carnegie Recital Hall.
In the following years he has given numerous recitals in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York. He has appeared three times with the Atlantic City Civic Symphony.
As winner of the 1991 Concerts International Auditions his busy concert schedule included appearances for the BBC in London and concert appearances in Aberdeen, Scotland and other major cities throughout Europe. Closer to home, he performed at the famed Arts Center in Holmdel, NJ.
He is on the prestigious roster of the Contemporary Records Society listed in Musical America as well as other publications.
He has been a member of the faculty of The Settlement School in Philadelphia. He is presently the organist at St. Mary Church in Bound Brook.

Wanda Czarcinski
Wanda Czarcinski first joined the St. Cecelia Choir at St. Mary's over 25 years ago and then decided to learn to play the organ. She bought an organ, which is now the the Chapel, took a few lessons and then continued to be a self-taught musician. Wanda was a member of the Diocesan Choir for a number of years, and a member of various musician organizations to keep current with all liturgies.
For over twenty years she played at the 5:00 pm and 9:00am mass and at the 11:30 mass.
Wanda is of Polish heritage and learned to love the Polish music. She understands some of the language and has a good rapore with the director and members of the Polish choir. She is blessed to now participate occassionally.
